Welcome to Ōwhiro Bay School
Ōwhiro Bay School was established in 1930 on the beautiful South Coast in Wellington, alongside the Ōwhiro Stream and within walking distance to the bay.
Along with the stream and proximity to the beach, our amazing outdoor environment features large flat grass fields, hard courts for basketball and netball, a tennis court, and two very popular playgrounds. We enjoy a high level of community involvement, and in partnership with Ōwhiro Bay Kindergarten, our One Learning Community was established on site in 2009
